Frequently Asked Questions. No. Power Lister is not affiliated, nor part of eBay. Power Lister is a 3rd party web site designed to help users post their auctions to eBay. Top Power Lister is an alternative to eBay's Turbo Lister, but uses your web browser instead of downloaded software to prepare auctions for eBay. With either, once an auction is prepared, you can save it to upload to eBay at a later time. Top That's up to you. If you are comfortable with eBay's Turbo Lister and only use one computer, then you probably should stick with Turbo Lister. Top Power Lister allows you to save your auctions to your hard drive or to an external device such as a thumbdrive. Top There are two types of accounts of Power Lister available, Basic and Premium. The Basic account is free. The Premium account is free for the first month, then $2.99 per month. Top The only difference between the Basic account and the Premium account is the Basic account only allows single uploads and the Premium account allows bulk uploads. Top Power Lister limits each auction list to 100 items. However, you can create as many new auction lists as you want. Top There are no limits to the number of auctions that you can upload with either the Basic or Premium accounts. The Premium account allows up to 100 auctions to be uploaded per session. There is no limit to the number of sessions allowed. Therefore, unlimited uploads can be made every day. Top Yes. Since Power Lister uses only your web browser, you must be connected to the internet in order to use it. It works best with high speed connections. Top There is no software to download or install on your computer. Simply create a new Power Lister account and visit PowerLister.com. Top No. You are responsible for all fees associated with eBay. Power Lister does not pay your eBay listing fees, commission fees, or any fees associated with your sales. Top Be sure there are no spaces in the directory or filename. It will not work if your file is in 'My Documents' because it has a space in it. Also be sure your file has a .tar extenstion Top We recommend creating a directory named 'powerlister' or 'auctions' to your root drive. Do not save to 'My Documents' or any directory with a space in it. Power Lister will not work correctly if there is a space in the path. Top Sure. You can upgrade anytime by logging in at the Member's Account Area. Upgrade to Premium by clicking the upgrade link to create a PayPal monthly subscription. Top Yes. Simply cancel your PayPal subscription to Power Lister and your account will automatically change to Basic. Top Yes. When you upgrade to a Premium account, you will get the first 30 days free. This does not apply if you downgrade to Basic and upgrade again to Premium. Top No. You only get a free 30 day trial period once when you upgrade to a Premium account. This does not apply if you downgrade to Basic and upgrade again to Premium. Top You have a Basic account. You need a Premium account for bulk uploads. Top You can load another file to continue uploading more auctions. There is no maximum limit to uploads to eBay, just a maximum number of auctions per file. Top In order for the File Save notification to work, you must not have popups blocked. Be sure you have not blocked popups in any way. Top Click on the Account Information link and log in using your Power Lister username and password. Then click "Terminate Account". Top
